ILUX supports the opening of a new renal clinic for Diaverum in North Ormesby.
Diaverum provides renal care to patients with chronic kidney disease across nearly 470 clinics around the world. So, when the organisation takes over the operations of an existing clinic, it is vital to get it up and running quickly, ready for patients with minimum disruption.
A long-standing client of ILUX, the healthcare company was recently awarded the contract to take over the North Ormesby Dialysis Centre by South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. They asked ILUX to design and install a completely new IT, telecoms and media infrastructure for the clinic within a 24-30 hours window, ready to welcome back patients at 6:30 am on Monday.
Simon Page, Commercial Director at ILUX said: “Whilst this is fantastic news, it doesn’t happen without considerable resources and commitment from the IT team to deliver above and beyond the normal call of duty.
Meticulous planning is key. There is zero margin for failure on a project like this, patients cannot wait for their treatments.
