Each year Nottinghamshire Hospice shares the opportunity to light up its iconic tower to raise money and celebrate the memory of patients.
To celebrate our new partnership with the organisation, the tower will be turning bright pink from Saturday 23 December to Tuesday 3 January, as part of their Light up a Life appeal.
This will fund a member of their team spending ten nights overnight in patients’ homes.
The Nottinghamshire Hospice staff work tirelessly, even over Christmas, to provide the support and care needed, and this campaign gives vital support at an important and often difficult time of the year for patients and their families.
Simon Page, CCO at ILUX, said: “Since working with Nottinghamshire Hospice on their digital transformation, we’ve been wowed time and time again by everything the charity does for its local community. We’re proud to support the end-of-life care the hospice provides, and to play a part in celebrating its amazing, dedicated staff.”
Claire Herrick, Head of Fundraising at Nottinghamshire Hospice, added: “Light up a Night is a wonderful way for companies to show their appreciation for our staff, who work tirelessly to support those dying in Nottinghamshire. We’re so grateful to ILUX for funding ten nights of our care – helping make sure people have the support they deserve at this difficult time of year.”
